OFFICIAL NOTICE OF STILLINGFLEET PARISH COUNCIL MEETING TO BE HELD AT 7.30PM IN STILLINGFLEET VILLAGE HALL ON THURSDAY 1 FEBRUARY 2018

Councillors are summoned to attend the Meeting of the Parish Council detailed above and to consider and resolve the business to be transacted on the agenda below.

Agenda

1. Public Participation

Any elector is entitled to attend this meeting and any concerns, questions or suggestions will be taken after the Chairman welcomes those present. The time for this will be limited to 15 minutes.

2. Apologies

To receive apologies for absence.

3. Declarations of Interest

Councillors are to make any declarations of interest on any agenda items.

4. Minutes

To approve as a correct record the minutes of the meeting of the Council held on 7 December 2017.

 5. Matters Arising

Defibrillator – To confirm the progress on obtaining funding.

Community Engagement – Councillor Lewis is to provide information.

New Clerk – An update on the progress to find a replacement Clerk.

Street Lighting – Councillor Cook to provide an update.

6. Play Area

To discuss the future proposals for the play area.

7. Police Matters

Councillor Harrison to report on any police matters.

8. Planning Matters

To receive updates on any existing planning application/information.

  • Ref: NY/2016/0251/FUL – Consultation on planning application for the purposes of the change of use of part of the former coal mine site to create a waste transfer for construction and demolition wastes, installation of a weighbridge, a skip storage area, portable amenity cabin and the provision of car parking on land at Former Stillingfleet Mine Site, Escrick Road, Stillingfleet.

  • Ref: PL/ES/ABW/1683/01/SR – Clay Pit, Escrick.

  • Ref: 2017/0840/FUL – Proposed siting of log cabin to provide tourist accommodation on land, Stickle Ban, Stewart Lane, Stillingfleet.

  • Ref: 2017/1324/FUL – Proposed erection of an agricultural worker’s dwelling – Land at Tiger Island, Stewart Lane, Stillingfleet.

9. Transparency Fund and Website

Computer Training – To consider additional training for the new clerk, if required.

10. Village Green

Drains on the Green – Councillor Elmhirst to provide an update.

Dog Fouling – Councillor Elmhirst to provide an update.

11. Financial Matters

To approve the payments to be made;

5. Stillingfleet Village Institute – Hire of hall for 2017 meetings – £124.00

6. Stillingfleet Village Institute – Hire of Hall for Play area consultation – £40.00

7. Fred Jackson – External Auditor – £70

8. Yorkshire Local Council Association New Clerks Course – £86.25

9. H Breheney (Clerk salary January and February 2018) to TBC

12. Charity Matters

The Tenancy on the Charity Field – Councillor Elmhirst to provide an update on the progress.

Rental Income – To discuss the treatment of this money.

Clerks and Councils Direct – Being circulated at present.

14. Any Other Business

April Meeting – To discuss an alternative venue or otherwise to consider changing the meeting to the 12 April 2018.
